Note for the 9th:

I messed up saving some of these pictures (today) compared to the way I saved the pictures from the earlier days.. I re-sized them 30 % smaller instead of reducing the quality by 30%.  Which is better for the average web viewer?  Does it matter?  Let me know so I can do it the right way, for the remainder of days, thanks.

Anyway, got a few more pictures up tonight.  I'll be updating/uploading pictures to the website each evening at about 10 or 11 pm.

Breakfast is served! At the beach, you can buy about anything. A big cup of fresh fruit for $ 2.00. I sent Cindy back again for more (2 for $ 3)

I took a close up of sand..imagine your own foot in there..

A look down the beach again..can't get enough of this, right?

This is the Playa Mazatlan Hotel..we stayed here last year..we're staying across the street this year and using the beach anyway..

Another card game in progress..

Quite an intense game isn't it?

This is me relaxing on the 1st full day here in Mazatlan. Not sure what expression I have, but I know I'm starting to relax..

Not enforced, don't worry..

Cindy did this last year too. Pottery painting, will be "fired" tomorrow.

A closer look..

This is the Playa's pool area...You can use it, too, no matter where you stay in Mazatlan..except if you are a local of course..

Yellow flag is out..some rough waves out there. But it is fun getting hit by them, videos later. The "white" flag was out a few days ago.

Another view down the beach.. see some buildings down there?

One or two folks down the beach. It still isn't as busy as it has been in the past years. Just nas many beach vendors though..

The Canadian and US Embassies are near the hotel. I took a picture of the Canadian, but there was a guard at the US embassy. I'll go back later..

A map of Mazatlan and the bus routes. Is graffitti a universal language?

Exchange your money here, get 10.1 pesos per dollar with no commission. The bank down the street gives you 10.4...

Last picture of the street you'll see, honest.

Sea shell city...I think there may be one or two shells in there..

Yep..

A picture of Alicia, she's a camera hog too

Here are the menu items at the Green Chile restaurant

A picture on the ceiling I thought was cool..

This was my dinner, Filet Mignon for about 9 bucks..

A small lobster feast...

A close up of the previous picture..think there is enough to eat?

A bit of dancin' goin' on..

Here we all are..except me...I'm taking this picture, surprise..

Dan & Arlene..Ed pooped out, so Danny stepped in..

Who are these folks? Notice the empty drinks..Cindy's Pina-Colata limit is 3..not me!
